Don’t worry. This sort of thing happens to me all the time. I cannot tell you how many times I have wandered into the wrong page (404 error), wrong store, or wrong building.
Some of my fondest memories were discovering new places and things that I happened to by accident. I discovered a wonderful Thai restaurant in the Lower East Side of Manhattan when I was lost. Downtown Manhattan is slightly confusing, especially when you are a newcomer. The streets have names and not numbers so you have to rely on landmarks to find out if you are going uptown or downtown.
On one occasion, I found myself going downtown and only realized it after going 5 blocks. At this point, I was hungry and decided to find a nice restaurant to satisfy my appetite. Next to me, I see “White Ginger” or “Wild Ginger”. My memory seems to be clouded by the name, but, it became one of my favorite Thai restaurants ever. Now, I love getting lost and finding an awesome place that I never knew existed.
